Terms and Conditions of Entry

The moment you enter our race we start to incur administration costs and banking charges, simply in processing your entry and payment. We also incur further charges in administering cancellations and processing refund payments.

Entry fees are non-refundable, including the cancellation of the event due to circumstances outside the organisers control.  NOTE: an insurance option is available via the event entry form if you would like to protect against being unable to attend (please read the insurance policy t's&c's).

No changes can be made to race entries after 3 weeks before race day.

No refund can be given if the race has to be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances outside our control, i.e. extreme weather conditions, by order of the government, due to foot and mouth, etc. Your entry fee is invested in the cost of staging the event, and the main costs to contractors, suppliers, administration etc  are already committed well before race  day.

Should you be unable to participate due to injury or illness your options are listed below:-

If more than 3 months before race day:-

  • Deferral to next year (please note this entry cannot then be deferred a 2nd time)

  • Swap your entry to another runner

  • Marshal in exchange for a deferral

If less than 3 months before race day:-

  • Swap your entry to another runner - up until 3 weeks before race day

  • No deferral but receive 50% off next year - up until 2 weeks before race day (please note this entry cannot then be deferred a 2nd time)

  • Marshal in exchange for a deferral - up until 1 week before race day

Please note that you are NOT ALLOWED to transfer your number to another runner without confirmation from the Race Organisers. Running in  someone else's race number can have  very serious consequences if the runner suffers a medical emergency. The accuracy of the race results is also affected when runners are placed in the wrong age and sex category.

Any runner who competes in another person's race number will be disqualified.  We reserve the right to refuse or cancel applications, including duplicate applications, or alter the date of the event, the course route or distance
